Rainy days on a mountain (Posted on 2019-05-20) Difficulty: 2 of 5
When Tanvir climbed a mountain, on his way to the top he saw it was raining 11 times. At the mountain, on a rainy day, it rains either in the morning or in the afternoon; but it never rains twice in the same day.

On his way, Tanvir spent 16 mornings and 13 afternoons without rain.

How many days did it take for Tanvir to climb the mountain in total?

There were 16 + 13 = 29 half days without rain and 11 half days that it did rain.  Altogether the hike took 29 + 11 = 40 half days, or 40/2 = 20 days.

Nobody asked, but it rained on 4 mornings and 7 afternoons.
