Numbers 23:19 | Comment 44 of 110 |
I'm REALLY coming in late, but hopefully I will be heard anyhow.

Although I believe that God is omnipotent, I also believe that there are certain things that He cannot do. In Numbers, it basically says that God is incapable of lying, or in other words, incapable of contradicting Himself.

The primary thing to consider is that God preordained everything from the beginning. He had an intricate plan, far too complex for us to fathom, before He ever said, "Let there be...". And since God is incapable of contradicting His own words and His own plan, He cannot (and will not) create a stone that He cannot lift. If it isn't part of His predetermined design, then He is not able to do it, because then He would contradict Himself, which is fundamentally impossible. Let us not forget that we are referring to the same person who "created" time and space. Talk about blowing your mind!
