I used pretty much the same technique but without the rotation.
E will be the first letter for the first 720 entries, L for the second group of 720, and P for the third. I stopped there since 2020 lies between 1441 and 2160.
It was easy working with a calculator. Divide 2020 by 720, round up to 3, take the third entry and scratch it out. Reduce the range (1441 and 2020 after step 1) and repeat for the next lowest factorial value.
