Fill in the blank at the end of each four-letter word below, using one of the letters at the bottom per word. Each letter is used only once and if you put it on the wrong word it might prevent another letter from being used. All the letters must be used exactly once.

An omission of words | Comment 3 of 4 |
There are two English words that must be excluded to come to the unique solution:
LIFE
YEAH
DOOR
POEM
AUNT
CLUB
MUCK
GNAW
OVEN
FROG

The two words are:
DOOK - (chiefly Scottish) a wooden plug to hold a nail, screw, etc.
and
AUNE - an old French unit of length for cloth.

With these two words there are six additional sets of ten words where each of the given letters are used but once:
LIFE  LIFE  LIFT  LIFT  LIFT  LIFT
YEAR  YEAN  YEAR  YEAN  YEAN  YEAH
dook  dook  dook  dook  dook  DOOR
POEM  POEM  POEM  POEM  POEM  POEM
AUNT  AUNT  aune  aune  aune  aune
CLUB  CLUB  CLUB  CLUB  CLUB  CLUB
MUCH  MUCH  MUCH  MUCH  MUCH  MUCK
GNAW  GNAW  GNAW  GNAW  GNAW  GNAW
OVEN  OVER  OVEN  OVER  OVER  OVEN
FROG  FROG  FROG  FROG  FROG  FROG
