A circle is contained in a quadrilateral with successive sides of lengths 3,6,5 and 8. Prove that the length of its radius is less than 3.

Not sure if it's this simple, but if I understand correctly the quadrilateral has opposite sides of lengths 3 and 5, so the width of the shape is <= 5 at any point.  You obviously couldn't fit a circle with a diameter of 6 anywhere in there, right?
