Hydrogen Fluoride    HF      (Hydrofluoric Acid)
Neon                 Ne

The C, N, O, F, Ne are successive elements on the periodic table and the number of hydrogen atoms in the molecule (or "molecule" in the case of neon or the ionic HF) decreases by 1 for each successive member of the sequence.  The last two members are the solution to the blanks.
