Temperature Travail II (Posted on 2021-12-25) Difficulty: 3 of 5
Determine all possible pairs (x,p) of nonzero integers satisfying this relationship.

(p*x)o Celsius = (p*x2)o Fahrenheit

Provide valid reasoning for your answer.

** It may be noted that F = (9/5)*C +32, where C and F respectively denotes degree(s) Celsius and degree(s) Fahrenheit.

clearvars
for Celsius=-273:100000
   Fahr=9*Celsius/5+32;
   if Fahr==floor(Fahr) && abs(Fahr)>=abs(Celsius)
       x=Fahr/Celsius;
       if x==floor(x)
          if mod(Celsius,x)==0
             disp([Celsius Fahr Celsius/x  x])
          end
       end
   end
end

finds

    °C    °F     p     x

   -40   -40   -40     1
     0    32     0   Inf
    10    50     2     5
   160   320    80     2

The second set is obviously not valid; the other three are.
