Each of the clues below refers to a 5-letter word. Change one letter in the word clued on the left in each row and slide it to a later position among the four remaining letters to get the word clued on the right side of that row. An example of such a switch is replacing the R in WRATH with a C and sliding it to between the T and the H to make WATCH. Place the original letter in the blank square on the left of that row, and the replacement letter in the blank square on the right.
