I'm thinking of two words that are loosely related to each other. Also, each of the following six topics relate to at least one of my two words.

Research and writing
What two words am I thinking of?

Fly relates to
--> Fishing, trees, entomology
Paper relates to
--> Travel, news, research and writing.
Fly and paper are also loosely related to each other since flypaper as a single word indicates "sticky, poison-treated strips of paper that are hung indoors to catch and kill flies."
Consequently, the two desired words are FLY and PAPER.
