â–  CHARLIE has submitted a 35-term solution by way of simulation.

The other valid solutions in the comments and official solution  are:

Rajal's 9-term solution
------------------------------------
1/2 = 2^(-2) + 3^(-2) + 4^(-2) + 5^(-2) + 7^(-2) + 8^(-2) +56^(-2)+168^(-2) + 840^(-2)

FK's 10-term official solution
----------------------------------------------
1/2
= 2^(-2) + 3^(-2) + 4^(-2)+ 5^(-2)+6^(-2)+12^(-2)+30^(-2)+60^(-2)+75^(-2)+100^(-2)

e.g.'s 11-term solution
-----------------------------------
1/2
= 2^(-2)+3^(-2)+4^(-2)+5^(-2)+6^(-2)+12^(-2)+
  30^(-2) + 50^(-2)+100^(-2)+150^(-2)+300^(-2)
