There are a number of common words in the English language which start with a double letter, such as ooze and eerie, but these start with vowels.
Can you think of a common word in the English language which starts with a double consonant?

o llano --> open grassy plain in Latin America or, Southwestern U.S. Incidentally the Spanish term "llano" means "flat" in English.
o S-shaped
o C-clamp
o llandro --> A smart person with an attitude (according to Urban Dictionary)
o "ffordd" --> In Welsh, it means road, distance, way, or manner.
**** Don't know if it qualifies, but C-Chute is a sci-fi short story written by Isaac Asimov in 1951.
