Substitute digits for the letters to make the following relation true.

        S O M E 
      + G O O D 
     ---------- 
      I D E A S 
     ---------- 

Note that the leftmost letter can't be zero in any word. Also, different digits represent different values.

I got the following

9142
8117
----
17259
which would mean s=9, o=1, m=4, e=2,g=8, d=7,i=1,a=5
and the equation works, but it is different than your answer. What did I do wrong?
Also if o=7 how does e=5 ?
