x+y =i, and :x*y=42

Or, p^2-i*p+42 =0

Or, p=[ i+/-v(-1-42*4)/2] =( i+/- 13i)/2 = 7i, - 6i

Therefore, (x,y) = (7i, -6i), (-6i, 7i)
