Six boxes (Posted on 2003-08-14) Difficulty: 3 of 5
There are six boxes containing 5, 7, 14, 16, 18, 29 balls of either red or blue in colour. Some boxes contain only red balls and others contain only blue.

One sales man sold one box out of them and then he says, "I have the same number of red and blue balls left over."

Which box is sold out?

the buses tag number was 196 (13^2)
upside down it would be 961 (31^2)

The other answer is simpler and reversable but I don't think it counts
that is using the numbers 001 and 100
I don't think it counts because cool math people always seam to snub the lowly one as a perfect square (although it is)
