Solution solution Comment 3 of 3 |
let c = a/b
c^2 - 13/6 c + 1 = 0
c = 13/12 ± (1/2)√(169/36 - 144/36)
c = 13/12 ± (1/2)√(25/36)
c = 13/12 ± 5/12 = {2/3, 3/2}
let a=3, b=2.

Answer:  5
