Let f(x) be a monic 4th degree polynomial such that f(1) = 1, f(2) = 8, f(3) = 27, f(4) = 64. Find f(5).

When
solve 1+a+b+c+d=1,16+8a+4b+2c+d = 8,81+27a+9b+3c+d=27, 256+4^3a+4^2b+4c+d=64
was presented to Wolfram Alpha without a space after the comma between 27 and 256, the program somehow interpreted it as one number, 27,256. The first 3 came out OK. I don't know how it allowed two equal signs in what was interpreted as the last equation or how the 27 was interpreted correctly in the third equation but also included in the last equation.
It shows the importance of checking the results from Alpha.
