(1+sinx)/cos x = 22/7
And, csc x + cot x = (1+cosx)/sinx
Then, ((1+sinx)/cos x)((1+cosx)/sinx)
= (1+ sin x+ cos x+ sin x. cos x)/(sin x.cos x)
= ( sin^2x+ cos^2x + sin x +cos x + sinx.cos x)/(sin x. cos x)
= (1+ (sinx (1+sin x) +cosx (1+cosx)/sin x.cosx)
= 1+ ((1+sin x)/cosx)((1+cos x)/sin x)
Therefore, we must have:
(22/7)*((1+cos x)/sinx) = 1+ 22/7+ ((1+cos x)/sin x)
=> (15/7)*(1+cosx)/sinx = 29/7
=> (1+ cos x)/sin x = 29/15
=> csc x + cot x = 29/15
