I am holding a collection of items in my hands.
I throw two of the items away.

I want to divide it into different groups, but I can only see one half of each item in my hands.

I can easily divide the items into the same amount of groups:

If I add up all the values together,
I get the amount of days in a year (minus 1 for the two items I threw away.)

What do I have?

Solution: (Hide)

A deck of cards.
Throw the 2 jokers away.
I look at the side (one half) that has the unique patterns of numbers and suits.
Day and night Ц black and red.
4 seasons Ц 4 suits.
13 lunar months - A, 2, Е,J, Q, K Ц 13 values.
52 weeks in the year Ц 52 cards (one in each group).
A=1,2=2, ЕЕ,10=10, J=11, Q=12, K=13 added together is 364.
