Each letter should be replaced by the number of "ends" which each letter has. D = 0, M = 2, T = 3. So the answer to the final equation (4 / 2) + 3 - 4 = 1. So the answer must be P (or Q, depending on your individual writing style or font type.) This problem was passed on to me.
