This was not intended to be more than a fleeting pastime curio. There will be a range of possible outcomes for each integer and what is offered below will be but just one of those. And, since no one solution would fit all I'm always confident that the addition of solver solutions would be a better compendium than what I could hope to offer. Operation: The calculator is programmed so that on a button press its next press has been "toggled" to "subtract". If some other button is pressed it resets the previous button to addition and inherits the "subtraction". Note too that repeated pressing of the same button toggles between "addition" and "subtraction". In the "subtraction" mode a repeated press of the same button decrements the display by double the keyed value, ie: A B B will show 1 4 and then -2 as the calculator considers the first B as a "-" symbol and so decreases the 4 by 6. [Another B would however bring the value to 1]. The choice of another button negates the toggle effect. At the point of this post let me refer you to the solutions already offered but add others should you find something appropriate, appropriate meaning efficient.
