Inconsiderable Integer Illation (Posted on 2014-11-16) Difficulty: 3 of 5
Determine the minimum value of a positive integer N, satisfying:
           cos 96o + sin 96o
tan 19No = -----------------
           cos 96o - sin 96o

Multiplying each of the numerator and denominator by 1/√2,=sin 45o= cos 45o, we have:
tan 19No = sin(96+45)/cos(96+45) = sin 141o/cos 141o
tan 19No = tan 141o = tan (141+180*k)
For k=16 we observe that 141+180k is divisible by 19, rendering 3021/19= 159 as the required minimum value of N.
