What Can I Be? (Posted on 2003-06-22) |
|
My timpani plays a rhythmic song,
With hammer on anvil I play along.
Down my canal no ship sets course,
And I have a stirrup that fits no horse.
What am I?

The Human Ear
Timpanis are a kind of drum, which relates to the ear drum.
Their's also a hammer shaped bone in your ear The incus is a anvil shaped bone in your ear.
You have an ear canal, where sound enters your ear.
And there's a bone in your ear called the stirrup or the stapes. |
