Tetra Anagram Trial (Posted on 2016-09-02) Difficulty: 3 of 5
“The novel was greatly interesting in the first eleven chapters - independent of the TEAM of the leading character. However, the MEAT in the narrative of the TAME MATE in the final chapter is a major lacuna in the otherwise perfect yarn.”

The four italicized strings should be substituted for another four strings of letters, each being the anagram of three others. (Each string should have a length of at least 8.)

Note: Plurals, proper names, slangs abbreviations, acronyms and archaic words are not allowed.

Some Thoughts Slightly modified text............2nd trial | Comment 2 of 4 |

The novel was greatly interesting in the first eleven chapters - independent of the LAMENESS of the leading character. However, the MEANLESS narrative of the NAMELESS    SALESMEN  in the final chapter is a major lacuna in the otherwise perfect yarn.”

Except for the minor change ---- is a perfect answer.   Or is it?

NB:    Apparently, also  MALENESS      is a valid English word!

Could be used in the  text sans changes !
