Spelling bee results (Posted on 2017-12-08) Difficulty: 3 of 5
Four brothers (Abe, Ben, Chen, and Dan), joined by their spouses (Eva, Fanny, Gilda, and Helen) have participated in a spelling bee contest, earning jointly 32 points.

Is it possible to find out who is married to whom, given that:
a. Each of the men got different amount of points
b. Abe and his wife got the same amount of points
c. Dan got twice as many points as his spouse
d. Ben got thrice as many points as his spouse
e. Chen got four times as many points as his spouse.
f. Abe’s points quantity equals the joint sum of Helen's and her husband's.
g. Pairwise, Gilda and her husband are 2nd on the list.

Provide both the possible pairs' matching(s) and the corresponding points' distribution(s).

BONUS: How would your solutions change if one of the conditions (a to g) were erased; answer for each of them.
