Regarding your preamble "Now that it's been posted"      I must remark  that nobody  addressed the wording while my post was reviewed  in order  to avoid errors and misundestandings.

It looked  the same as now.

I ask you now to answer for what value of n (a variable) one gets  the maximal product and what is its value.

Assume  L>1 , to avoid the problem of units, and then I will let you know what ideaI was trying to convey.
