Determine the maximum value of N.

How about the maximum value of N when it has strictly descending duodecimal digits from left to right.

There are more members of the list of descending than of ascending.

This isn't surprising if you consider the last digits of duodecimal squares of the numbers 0 through B:

0,1,4,9,4,1,0,1,4,9,4,1
