You are given three identical bricks, shaped as rectangular parallelepipeds, and a measuring tape or a ruler . Your task is to evaluate the length of the inner diagonal of a brick.

Excellent solution. I had in mind something like  Jer's solution, but it required an assistant to support two of the bricks that did not lie on the table or floor.
