  • 14N = 5
Determine the value of log35(28) in terms of M and N.

14^M = 7

14^N = 5

35 = 14^(M+N)

log14(35) = M+N

log28(35) = (M+N)/log14(28)

log35(28) = log14(28)/(M+N)

          = (M + log14(4))/(M+N)
