Puzzle Solution

f(1)+f(2)+f(3)+f(4)+...

= (1/2) - (1/2)^2 + (1/2)^3 - (1/2)^4+...

= (1/2+ 1/8+ 1/32+.....) - (1/4+ 1/16 + 1/64+....)

= (1/2)/(1- 1/4) - (1/4)/(1-1/4)

= (1/2)/(3/4) - (1/4)/(3/4)

= (1/2 -1/4)/(3/4)

= (1/4)/(3/4)

= 1/3
