Some Thoughts Answer | Comment 1 of 8
There are too many double letters (TT, UU, GG, ZZ) so I dropped the idea of standard substitution, and working with the 'Differential' part of the title I started paying attention at the differences between letter positions. Letting A=1, B=2, C=3, and so on up to Z=36, I got

P=16 J=10 diff=-6 or 20 (the same mod 26); J=10 R=18 diff=8; R=18 A=1 diff=9; A=1 T=20 diff=19; T=20 T=20 diff=26

Using the numeric code, this could stand for THISZCL with Z used as an space...

Going on, TW=C; WL=O; LP=D; PU=E; UU=Z, so the message now is THISZCODEZ which looks good.

The complete message is THISZCODEZUSESZPASACLSZTHEOCG

which makes no sense!? Maybe the coder made a mistake, or I did, or there is a code change... any ideas?
