Animal + Plant (Posted on 2005-04-09) Difficulty: 1 of 5
"Monkey" is an animal. "Fern" is a plant. Unfortunately, "monkeyfern" is not an English word.

Find a more suitable animal and plant for the job.

Neither of these is perfect

dogwood:  wood is from a plant but not really the name of a plant

mangrove, cowberry:   same problem

catbrier, catmint:  maybe but uncommon words
