Southern Exposure (Posted on 2005-06-01) Difficulty: 1 of 5
A normal house was built, with 4 walls and a roof. But each wall had a southern exposure. A bear comes up to the window. What color is the bear and why?

The bear is black, but the hair appears to be white because it lacks pigmentation and is hollow.  That's just the way polar bears are, and the north pole is the only place you could have four walls supporting a roof that all face south.

I kind of doubt that a polar bear would venture that far north, though.
