Hint: 0 = 0. but 1 = 27, the line breaks don't matter, and the answer has four letters.

Just letting you know someone is working on the problem, but I haven't made much progress yet.

Observations: 
Between the 0+  and the -1 lie 91 characters.
7X13=91
The hint shows 0=0 and 1=27; Possibly 26 spaces lie between 0 and 1 then...enough for the whole alphabet.  That would be 28 spaces altogether.
7X4=28
The number 7 has figured into this twice now.  Probably just a coincidence.
But the "answer has 4 letters" and 13 is a factor of 26. Hmmm.
If each letter is represented by 26 characters, and you overlap each set of 26 with an offset of 13, the resulting string would be 91 characters long.  Another coincidence.
