The sum of two positive numbers is 1068 and their Highest Common Factor is 89. How many pairs of such numbers are there?

there are 4 pairs. Because 89 goes into 1068 11 times, there are 11 sets of numbers that will go into 1068, while both numbers have 89 as a common factor. However, only 4 pairs (8 if order counts) will have 89 as a GCF.
