If an alliance or pact between two nations is a kind of addition, then the first one, "abcdefghijklnopqrstuvwxyz+" could also be "No m pact" = an approximate spelling of "no impact".

(By the way, I didn't know there were correct and incorrect ways to spell "Yadda-Yadda-Yadda". Good thing that one didn't come up on the National Spelling Bee.)
