Some Thoughts Where to begin? | Comment 1 of 14

Initially, let me say you did a great job with this graphic Brian, but really, only a D3??  If I've done my permutations correctly, there are a total of 5,765,760 possible 6-button combinations to play with, which happens to be precisely 5,460 times the 43,680 possible arrangements for any one four-letter 'word' on the grid using the 16 letters available.  Brute force types like myself could easily spend all year playing with those buttons!  (I tried 'n-o-i-d-e-a' but that certainly didn't do it!)  Alas I'd better go walk the dog while I ponder this further!
