Some equations, using only the Roman "digits" (I V X L C D & M ) retain their validity both as Roman math or as alphametics:

ex1-......XI+III=XIV means either 11+3=14 or 98+888=986
ex2-...... VI+VI=XII could be either 6+6=12 or 50+50=100 as well

1. Write in Roman digits and then solve as alphametics: 2+3+3+4+5=17
2. Invent some Romanumeral expressions with a single solution - the longer the better.
