Believe it or not, W.G. wrote to his blind date describing himself:
"…Eyes I have two, ears likewise, fingers I have twenty five
on the right hand, same on the left hand plus ten on my legs…"
Provide a possible explanation to the above.

Abe Lincoln is quoted as posing and answering a riddle:

Q: If you call a tail a leg, how many legs does a dog have?

A: Only four; calling a tail a leg doesn't make it a leg.

Of course to a mathematician, calling an x and a, does make it an a.
