There are four keys of different colors: red, yellow, green, and blue. Each key opens a different box: red, yellow, green, and blue. Here are some clues.

1. No key opens a box of the same color.
2. The red key does not open the yellow box.
3. The green key opens the blue box.

Which key opens which box?

We know from clue 3 that the green key opens the blue box.

By clue 2, we know that the red key does not open the yellow box.
By clue 1, the yellow box cannot be opened by the yellow  key.
Also, it cannot be opened by the green key.
Therefore, the yellow box will be opened by the blue key.
Now, the red box will NOT be opened by the red key, green key, or the blue key.
So, the red box will be opened by the yellow key.
Finally, by process of elimination, the green box will be opened by the red key.

Consequently  summarizing,  we have:
o The blue box will be opened by the green key
o The yellow box will be opened by the blue key.
o The red box will be opened by the yellow key
o The green box will be opened by the red key.
