BC, CA and AB represents three sides of a triangle having lengths a, b and c respectively. Angles A, B and C are opposite respectively to the sides BC, CA and AB

Given that: a2 + b2= 2015* c2

Find the value of :
   cot  C
-------------
cot A + cot B

Some Thoughts Observation | Comment 1 of 2

The answer seems to be around 2014/2.

By direct evaluation:

Let c=1, and a=b (a very pointy isosceles triangle)

Then a=b=31.7411409...

The angle at C is 1.80516983... degrees, that at A and B is (90-1.80516983.../2)

Computation gives the value of the desired expression as 1007.000..
