⌈1  0⌉⌈x⌉=⌈ x⌉
⌊0 -1⌋⌊y⌋=⌊-y⌋

The above 2x2 matrix reflects a point over the x-axis. (x,y)→(x,-y).

Derive a matrix that will reflect a point over the line y=kx.

1.  The problem says "derive", not "look up"
2.  Try doing it directly in terms of k not the angle.  It makes a nice formula.
3.  The partial brackets?  I don't remember how I did them.  I think I found the codes but I may have cut and pasted.
