A man walks up to you and says:
"
Everything I say to you is a lie."
Is he telling you the truth or is he lying?

In all fairness a lot of these problems make some really "pathological" assumptions... (wittness the ant on the rubber band that gets stretched till it's bigger than the universe, and the ant lives forever)
This man just walks up to you and tells you that everything he tells you is a lie. The problem doesn't mention any other statements on the part of this man.
The phrase "a man walks up to you..." suggests that you probably don't know him. As such, there is no reason to assume that the conversation will continue (especially after a statement like that)
