A polygon has 1325 diagonals. How many vertices does it have?

Here it is,

               I Have found out a pattern, which this problem follows. In all the basic shapes the number of vertics is double the number of diagonals. Although if the vertices is an odd number then the diagonals wil be -1 the vertices.

So in this case the number of vertices should be 2650, but i am not perfectly sure of this answer.
