really wouldn't have helped, because i'm having trouble proving the second part... i did prove that 2 is an odd number... but then i realized that 2^k does not equal 2K...

anyway...

good luck with doing something with the second question...

hmm... i probably should've just asked which it was, eh?

ah, well, i'll learn...
