Thank you John, I appreciate the support.
I suffered a similar type of problem whe attempting to converse (via
email) with a Japanese woman, merely as a penpal. So Unwittingly
we can say/write things quite glibly only to find that somehow we have
been misinterpreted.
Hmm! I take no offence at pcbouhid's comments in chiding
me. It just happens to be one of the hazards when crossing the
language barrier. And I gather from his 'rebuke' to me that most
of his English usage is in text rather than spoken. Certainly,
without practised dialogue, one may clearly not see the full
implications of what is said.
Maybe I really should have made comment here to find such dialogue at
one of the Forums. I'll make a personal note to myself to do such
a thing in the future. That would be the best place to discuss
such things.
Apologies to all, I feel that I have somewhat transgressed, but I don't
know that there are guidelines to suggest that I have. But, I
won't do this again.
