What time is it if the second hand is exactly on a second mark, and exactly 18 second marks ahead of the hour hand?

Generalised Solution

Following the same arguments, it can be proved that, in general, if the second hand is exactly (5A+B) second marks ahead of the hour hand where A=0,1,2,..........,11 and B= 0,1,2,3,4 then the current time is 12(5-B) minutes past (11-A) o'clock.
