Did you find "
Britannia Rule The Waves!!" difficult? Try this one; find the next two letters in the sequence:
M, J, M, E, M, A, ?, ?
(In reply to
Solution (with reasoning and spoiler) by Sam)
I originally found no joy with the English Monarchs. I ran a Google and examined the link:
http://www.britainexpress.com/History/monarchs.htm.
Lesson!!
Sequence means:-
When on this site "do not look a gift horse in the
mouth", or for that matter, anything that seems to comfortably easy.
I looked down the list but could not relate it to anything in chronological order! - failure!!
In my British History I had not heard of Matilda [she is listed as
under Normans - Empress Matilda - Queen Maud]. Neither did I know
of Jane Grey as a monarch, a blend of tea, yes, Royalty, no!
Sam gives Anne two listings but attempts to dismiss one. Anne,
being of the Stuarts (1702-1714), married George of Hanover who became
George I, and as King assumed the role of monarch.
(Explains Sam's comment 'her
title and the British monarchy changed in 1714.')
Good work Sam, trust sassy feels the same.
