Let f(x) = √(1-x²)
Find the definite integral
of f(x) between x = 0 and x = 1
Substituting x = sin h, we have:
I = Integral (cos^2 h) dh; h = 0 to pi/2
= 1/2*B(1/2, 3/2)
Now, gamma(1/2) = Vpi, and gamma(3/2) = 1/2*gamma(1/2) = vpi/2
= {(1/2)(V(pi)*V(pi)/2}/gamma(2)
= (1/2)*(pi/2), since gamma(2)=1!=1
= pi/4
