Awkward Letters by brianjn)
PIQUE was among the sets with unusual words. In fact, all the PIQUE's were preceded by HAVERING and FUCOSE, at least in the sets that got all the way to the first six words.
QUICHE never made it to any six-word list. In fact once QUICHE was used, the program got no farther. It had been paired with LAYERING, MATERIAL, SABERING, TABERING, TAPERING, VALERIAN, WAFERING, WATERILY, WATERING and WAVERING, and in each case no letters were left available for the third word.
