What conclusion can you draw from the following statements?
- Some alligators carry umbrellas in the shower.
- Only those that know that flying fish live in trees prefer caramel candy to chocolate.
- Certain days are set aside for alligators to watch rabbits play hockey.
- Some large reptiles are steeplechasers.
- Only steeplechasers can watch hockey games.
- Those alligators that carry umbrellas in the shower know that flying fish live in the trees.
- Those that prefer chocolate to caramel candy cannot be steeplechasers.
- Steeplechasers are vegetarians.

I'll give it a try (spoiler?) by Kenny M)
I agree with Kenny's conclusion, and I haven't come up with anything better. However, the conclusion ("Some alligators are vegetarians") can be reached using just statements 3, 5 and 8. Is there some stronger conclusion available? The other statements do manage to not contradict the "Some alligators are vegetarians" conclusion. I am starting to thinking that they are distractions.
Here's a different conclusion, which some may judge better:
"Some alligators carry umbrellas in the shower, and therefore know that flying fish live in trees, and therefore prefer caramel candy to chocolate, but they may or may not be the same alligators who are steeplechasers and therefore vegetarians".
